This is one of those wonderful movies where, you take from it what you need at the time you watch it. For me its a wonderful meditation on the differences between solitude and loneliness, between boredom and the freedom found in routine, about discerning what makes for a good life, a good year, a good month, a good day; maybe even a perfect one.

Wim Wenders has found some direct gateway to the source, he seems so open to what is around him in the process of making a film and we are very fortunate that he does.
